of a year, when experience has been gained of

the working of the arrangements.

3. I have also to convey to you my approval

of the engagement of Me E. O'Neil Shaw, as Editor

of the Review for a period of two years at a

monthly salary of $525.

4. I should be glad if two further copies of

the first issue of the Review could be forwarded to

the Colonial Office, and if arrangements could be

made for the transmission of three copies of all

subsequent issues.
